You may pay by credit card or check. If you send a check, it must be received before the Early Bird cutoff to receive that price. All checks must be received before April 25, made out to Indiana SCBWI, and sent to Indiana SCBWI, P.O. Box 8211, Evansville, IN 47716. Online registration only.
IMPORTANT DATES
March 18: Last date manuscript and critique fees may be received at the PO Box for one-on-one paid manuscript critique (Indiana SCBWI, P.O. Box 8211, Evansville, IN 47716).
March 30: Last day to reserve a hotel room at the conference rate.
March 30: Last day registration and fees may be received to get the early bird conference price.
April 25: Last day for conference registration.
April 25: Last day registration and fees may be received to be scheduled for a one-on-one portfolio critique. These sold out early last time.
April 25: Last day illustrators may submit 1 jpg illustration sample for First Look.
FRIDAY NIGHT, April 29
7 - 9 pm. Open Mic/Portfolio viewing. Writers may read a few minutes from a manuscript and receive short, anonymous, written comments from the audience. Illustrators may bring a portfolio to display for anonymous, written comments.
SATURDAY, April 30
8 am – 5:15 pm. General Conference. Breakfast and lunch included.

SUNDAY MORNING INTENSIVES, May 1
8 am - 12 Noon. SCBWI members only. Must register for full conference to be eligible to register for Intensives. Breakfast included.
The Writer’s Intensive features critique round tables with 7 writers plus one faculty member (Lisa Yoskowitz, Mary Kole, or Rebecca Kai Dotlich). Writers will be assigned two different tables for two 90 minute sessions. Limited to 21 writers.
The Illustrator’s Intensive gives illustrators the chance to spend the morning with Kerry Martin and includes homework to be completed beforehand and brought in for discussion. Limited to 7 illustrators.
